Chief Executive Officer - Martin A. Lessem
Martin A. Lessem, has a Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Rider University in New Jersey. He has worked as a Paralegal and as a Regulatory Affairs Professional with various Pharmaceutical Companies. In addition to that he is an accomplished Private Pilot with a High Performance Sign-Off and 100 hours to his name and is currently working on his Instrument Rating. He has been an Aviation Enthusiast since childhood, and has spent many years studying the industry, both as a passenger, and most recently as a pilot, to gain a comprehensive knowledge of how the industry works, and where there is room for improvement. In addition, Martin will serve as a Pilot Trainee until fully qualified to fly as a Pilot-In-Command. Currently Martin is a Mentor with the AOPA's Project Pilot.
Chief Operations Officer - Dave C. Atkins, Jr.
Our Chief Operations Officer and Chief Pilot, Dave has a BS in Aeronautical Science with a minor in Aviation Weather from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He is an accomplished pilot and holds Private Pilot, Commercial Pilot, Multi-Engine Pilot and Air Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificates and the Instrument Rating with a total of 3,500 hours. In addition to those Ratings, he also holds Instructor Ratings for Private Pilot, Instrument Pilot and Multi-Engine Pilot. This means that he can instruct for every rating available, effectively placing all of our training in-house. He has worked as an instructor and as a First Officer with SkyWest, and brings both a knowledge and understanding of Air Operations that puts us on par with, if not above, many of the other small Charter services in the Region.
Chief Training Officer - Alexander Wagner
Alexander T. Wagner is joining our team as Chief Training Officer and Deputy Chief Pilot, putting him in charge of the Zephyr Flight Training. He brings a multitude of years experience, plus 2,800 flight hours and holds the same ratings as Dave Atkins. He is currently working as a Flight Instructor out of Wilmington Airport, and also as a demonstration pilot for the Columbia Aircraft.
